For several years we've been importing AS/400 spooled files into this
optical jukebox thing that hangs off the AS/400 and now we have a need to
extract the data. Does anyone know a way to get this data back in a useable
format? I have the ability to individually move documents from optical
storage to DASD. When I do this they appear as documents in library QDOC
with a type of PCFILE. I can't do anything with this file except RTVDOC
which does get it to a data file but it looks like some kind of compressed
format. I need either the original spooled file format or a readable
database file. Thanks.
