Chuck,
I shall ignore my aversion to material not germaine to this email forum by
saying that I echo your sentiments on what should be considered appropriate
content, and would add that some contributors (what is it with you guys?)
should get a life and leave all that ego baggage on their own desk top. If
the proportion of petty and non-relevant material continues, I shall be
leaving what I thought might be a useful forum, since it seems that some
people do little else but endeavour to inform the world that they know it
all.

Perhaps you can explain what I'm bitter about? I am the author of a
wildly-successful book in 1991. However, I'm not really bummed that the
"System/36 Power Tools" books isn't really selling any more. <g>

You're reading way too much into my messages. Our last discussion regarding
Amazon was about my response to what I considered an unfair of Java books
and the e-RPG book. This time it's about "news" that isn't really "news",
but an "ad".

Are you saying that promotional material belongs in this list? I've been
under the impression that subscribers (including me) have little patience
for too many vendor promotions. Perhaps it's just me.
