Using your example, I would aim to output the following:

 Qty Product  Description              Price
   1 CODE400  PC based editor        $300.00
   1 OS400    Operating system for $30000.00
              IBM AS/400 computer
              system

Naturally, I would hope to have a _little_ more real estate to work with!
