Alas,  the replies must be sent to the wrong list.  I guess this 
is the problem with using the RPG list for general midrange questions.  
The RPG list doesn't have an archive.

We are trying to use the above mentioned commands.

What kind of physical file (PF) is valid for these commands?

You create a PC word document which you "print" to the AS/400 folders. Then take
that folder and do the following.

 CRTPF      FILE(QTEMP/&@DOC) RCDLEN(2019) LVLCHK(*NO)

 CPYFRMPCD  FROMFLR(&@FLR) TOFILE(QTEMP/&@DOC) +
              FROMDOC(&@DOC) TRNTBL(*NONE) TRNFMT(*NOTEXT)

Then do the CRTOVL ....

Check the ARCHIVES of this list I sent my whole proceedure about a year ago.
