When you chain/read a file with the file set for update, if you get a hit on
a record and don't update or delete that record, perform an UNLOCK.

Either that or if you never plan on updating or deleting for a specific
chain, use the NOLOCK option on the CHAIN/READ  (ie CHAIN(n) READ(n)).
