Hello all,

How do I provide a prototype for a procedure pointer? For example, how can I
make the
compiler verify the parameters passed on the call to whatever procedure
HNDLR_ENTRY
will eventually point to?

D HDLR_ENTRY_ S * PROCPTR

The prototype is supposed to look like the following:

D HDLR_ENTRY PR
D curCondition LIKE(FEEDBACK_)
D token LIKE(POINTER_)
D resultCode LIKE(INT4_)
D newCondition LIKE(FEEDBACK_)

but I cannot have a variable (the pointer) and a prototype with the same name.
I
don't want to use a bound call (CALLB) but want to use a prototyped call
(CALLP).

Maybe I'm missing something but I can't see how to accomplish this.

Regards,
Simon Coulter.
