Jon, you and I have had this discussion before.  Code/400 is not for the 
fainthearted.  It is difficult to install, difficult to launch, and 
difficult for a non-PC RPG programmer to use.  The license costs at 
$1200/seat are trivial but the learning costs are not.  Using Code/400 is 
no where as easy a transition as the transition to using RPGIV and we all 
know how difficult it has been to get people to use RPGIV.

I'm all for the transition but my gosh, does it have to be so mystical and 
counter intuitive?  Does IBM understand the idea of focus groups and 
mirrored observation rooms?  I would be curious if anyone has ever gotten 
the evaluation package to actually work on one of their own programs 
without the guiding hand of someone that has actually done it already.

tells me you have no idea what the product can do.
