Hello Kim,

If you intend doing much with the C functions you will need to get familiar
with the C
runtime function reference manual -- RTFM.

The example in the Redbook starts out with a single delimiter (the colon) but
uses comma,
full-stop, semi-colon, colon, and space as the delimiters for the subsequent
calls.

The strtok() function allows you to change the delimiters on each call. You
simply need
to use the colon on all calls.

Regards,
Simon Coulter.

seperates this part of the string into 'blue' , 'tu' and 'z2'. Is there a way
to stop
'strtok' from reading the spaces/blanks as delimiters. I need 'blue tu z2' to
be one
token, not broken into three tokens.
