Yeah, I'm an easy target, eh?

As this is simply a matter of preference anyway, I think it looks messy, and 
even though the extra comparison doesn't take much cpu time, it still does use 
_some_ time.  I will also add that most times I have seen this done, the 
trailing 'endif' is not documented, so congrats to you for doing so.

This is the last I will say on the issue.
