Your return variable is defined as a 4 digit binary number not a 4 byte
binary number.  Use 10I 0 or 9B 0 on your return variable and you should get
past your error.

the message i am getting is CPF3C19 my problem is i
don't understand why. I have tried all varieties of
variables as the receiver variable but with no joy.
