Re: date conversion

In ILE, date conversion is v straightforward now. Simply use the MOVE op-code.

First define a proper date field (isodate in this case)

D isodate         S               D

Then in your code:

C     *MDY          MOVE      mmddyydate    isodate
C     *CYMD         MOVE      isodate       cyymmdd
