Subject: SCOMPARE substitue for comparing RPG source.

Hi all,

I'm working on an upgrade to a vendor supplied product where some of the RPG
programs have been customized by the facility. Normally, we use S/Compare
to compare the custom version to the vendor version to see what has been
changed, and then act accordingly.

Unfortunately, a processor upgrade has invalidated the license key. I'm
sure there is probably some more bucks due to go to Aldon, but I'm betting
it won't be done by the end of the week, which is of course when the
deadline for my part is.

Now for the question: Is anyone aware of an AS/400, PC, or linux program
that can substitue for S/Compare in a pinch until we can get it working
again? I'd like something that runs in a batch mode and produces a listing
or output file of the changes, as opposed to one with a side by side
interactive comparison.

Thanks!

Regards,
Rich
