Hey Paul,

Thanks for your advice.

I did what you said but still have the same problem. Here is my code...

 D SDS
 D P#PNAM 1 10
 D P#USER 254 263
 C CALLP PutErrMsg( 'CPF9897'
Send message.
 C : 'QCPFMSG *LIBL '
 C : MsgDta
 C : %Size(MsgDta)
 C : '*INFO'
 C : P#PNAM
 C : *Zeros
 C : APIMsgKey
 C : APIErr )
 C Eval MsgSflDsp = @True
 C Eval MsgSflEnd = @True

I also tried the program name & left-justified '*' in the Message queue field,
It did't worked out.

Dave, could you please send me the link on midrange computing web site which
had this talked about Message API???.

Thanks Guys for all your help.
Gade

     Gade,

I replied to this before, but I don't know if you saw it. In the DDS,
there is a SFLPGMQ keyword on the message subfile and message subfile
control records. This needs to be initialised to the name of your
     program, or to a single left-justified '*'.
