I agree, I also would like a 400 at home.   Just I don't like all the license
fees.....now if license & support  fees could be all bundled with the parent
system (like corporate headquarters) at a very minimal cost ---- now that would
be something.  Of course, we all want something for nothing.

It is also one way of getting the KIDS of the world to know what a 400 is and
how it beats the hell out of a PC.

I would LOVE an AS/400 at home. I used to Consult and I've had Contracts,
now I'm a full-time employee... but for me to learn all the things I want to
learn (value add to my employer), and expand my AS/400 knowledge, I would
certainly consider a (reasonable cost) hardware purchase for my home.
