Dear Susan (Gantner), dear Jon Paris,

first of all thank you and your ITSO-Team very much for the new Redbook "Who
knew you could do that with RPG IV ?"
Our first impression ist "G r e a t" ...

But, we are missing an Index at the end of the book.
We are missing also program-examples for using the new database UDB types with
embedded SQL.
In the referenced SQL-books (SC41-4611 and SC-41 4612) there are only examples
in C(!!!!!!!! ?????) and Cobol (!!!!!!!!). We think, thats not very helpfull in
our RPG-World.

May be you can help us with the following current problem:
1.: Data Link File Manager is initialized, started etc. and works.

2.: But there is no record in any of the databases in the Library QDLFM.

3.: When we use SQL-INSERT to a Field-Type DATALINK (either ISQL or RPG IV
SQL),
    we get the following Error:
SQL0358 Error 22 occured using DataLink Data type

Best regards from Germany
