I've just seen my first M36 virtual machine. Very nice solution for
anyone stuck in SSP. I was surprised at the affordabilty, and now the
performance is just astounding compared to the old 5362 that it replaces.
It makes me appreciate just how much really good code was written 10-15
years ago.

I am told we can write new programs on the AS/400 side and use the Sys/36
files through DDM. Has anyone here done this? Were the results pleasing?
How is performance and accessibility to the data?
