Barbara,

The things you have listed would be very nice to have.  One item, 
support for variable type parameters AKA parameterized types, 
would add far more to the language than any other single enhancement.  
With this we could pretty much create our own support for most of the 
other enhancements that have been/will be requested.  I realize this 
requires support from Rochester, but I don't see understand why this 
can't be added to RPG today with the OPDESC support following.  I 
also don't understand why this type of support cannot be added without 
Rochester's help, even if it added extra overhead.  I would support 
making this enhancement even if it meant that no other enhancement 
would be made for the next release.
