  • Subject: OVRTAPF Not Working in CL
  • From: "Richard Hartman" <r_hartman@xxxxxxxxxxx>

I don't know if this is the right place to ask this question but I could not
find a list specific to the CL language.

When I run the following code from the command line, the routine works fine.
When I run it from CL, I recieve message CPA4091 saying that it is using
*FMT7GB. Which I don't believe should occur if my override is working.

I am using an 8mm tape. Running a V4R2M0 machine.
Does anybody know, or heard of such a problem?

INZTAP DEV(TAP03) NEWOWNID(*NONE) CHECK(*NO) +
             DENSITY(*FMT2GB)
OVRTAPF FILE(QTAPE) REELS(*NL) +
             DENSITY(*FMT2GB) SECURE(*YES)
CPYTOTAP FROMFILE(FILE) TOFILE(QTAPE) +
             TODEV(TAP03) +
             TOREELS(*NL) TORCDLEN(436) +
             TOENDOPT(*UNLOAD) TOVOL(*NONE) +
             TOBLKLEN(32700) TORCDBLK(*FB)

Thanks in advance.
Richard Hartman
