FTP works great for stream files!

My opinion is that FTP works a whole lot better for stream files than
it does for database members.

If you can't get it to work with stream files, its probably a name
format issue...

Try typing "quote site namefmt 1" (if you're using windows FTP)
or just "site namefmt 1" under most other FTP clients, to switch
to IFS name format.... then typing "cd /qdls" should work.

(Tho, on my AS/400 (V3R2) I can type cd /qdls without specifying a
name format, and it'll automatically switch to format 1...)

Tho, this isn't an RPG topic, and therefore this thread should really
be moved to a more appropriate place.
