Use %EDITC or %EDITW to convert numeric.

                Hi all,

I thought I'd found a neat little BIF with %CHAR

But upon reading the manual it seems that it doesn't
convert numeric
                data,
                Only graphic, date, time etc

                Am I reading this correctly?
If so does anyone know why this is the case?

                Many thanks

                Colin
