Re: Join & Update

No, the record format selector program is attached to the logical file,
either when it is created (CRTLF), changed (CHGLF) or overridden (OVRDBF).
The parameter is FMTSLR. It is called by the system *only* if the program
doing an add (write) doesn't specify the format.
