It depends on where you're at.  There are plenty of AS/400 jobs here
in Las Vegas.  Most of the casinos use AS/400s.  I work at a distribution
company, not a casino.  It took us about 8 months to find a decent RPG
programmer, and another month-plus for her to wrap up loose ends at
her prior job and come over here.  Which means for almost 10 months
I was the only person whose specific job is programming.  (The MIS Director
also is a programmer, but that's not her job.)
