I am reading from the ILE RPG/400 Reference SC09-2077-01 (on CD-ROM),
V3R7M0, 4.4.36 EVAL.  The V4R2 version SC09-2508-01 has similar wording
directing the reader to the chapter on expressions.  It looks like your
version is V3R6.  Another case of "documentationitis," I guess.
