You can absolutely trust EVAL to perform as documented. If what it does is
still not the same as what you expect, even after all this discussion, who's
fault is that?

Well, my whole point is, Hans, that this is something that will effect all
of us sooner or later, and the only way we knew about it was by someone's
program failing.
