I'm thinking that it's possible to rebuild a file from the journal, although
you
would not be reversing the 'CR' per se.

It ain't elegant by any means, but if you were to restore the last backup of
the
file, start at the journal entry after the file backup, and make your
changes to
the database from journal entries after the backup, you _should_ get your
desired result.

Never done this, but it seems logical that it would work.

Sorry. When you clear a physical file member the only thing that's
journalled is the fact that you cleared it. Journalling does not protect you
against a clear.
