Write your procedure like this:

D SetMonth     PR       D   DATFMT(*ISO)
D   InMonth             D   VALUE DATFMT(*ISO)
D   NewMonth          10I 0 VALUE

C   EVAL  DateField = SetMonth( DateField: Month )
