In RPGIV, (does not have to be ILE) you can redefine your indicators using
the %Addr built in function, (BIF). Also, you can use other BIFs
e.g.

If %Found(FILENAME) OR If Not %EOF(FILENAME)

instead of

If Not *IN90

Subject: Indicators

Hi,

Am I correct in thinking that it is possible to assign a more user friendly
name to and indicator, eg.

                DOW             not     EndOfFile

Instead of

                DOW             not     *IN90

I have spent some time trawling through
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/pubs/html/as400/online/v4r3eng.htm
<http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/pubs/html/as400/online/v4r3eng.htm>
But as yet, I can't find what I am looking for.

Please help...

Cheers
Chris
