Frank,

I tested this on V4R3 and V4R4 and it works as advertised. If you
have the patience and support, I would check to see if an error has
been reported on V4R1. It would be a lot easier thought to just use
the uppercase and forget about it.

...Export Symbol( 'MYPROCNAME' )

instead of

Export Symbol( MyProcName )

and that worked. But IMHO this isn't normal behavior. Excerpt from the "AS/400
ILE
Concepts" Manual ( V4R1 ), chapter 4 - Binder Language:

"If the exported symbols contain lowercase letters, the symbol name should be
enclosed within apostrophes. If apostrophes are not used, the symbol name is
converted to all uppercase letters."

So I don't know why the export without the apostrophes doesn't work.
Any suggestions ?

Regards,
Frank Jodat
