The valid "Window" for the 3 Byte years (*CYMD, *CDMY, *CMDY)

is between   1900 and 2899.
1900  C = 0
2000  C  = 1
etc

Sooooooo.    1898 ain't gonna cut it. And BTW,  the results make sense 
if you look at them.
