Well I guess since they have not enhanced CL one bit since 1978,
That they believe that they could get by a couple of more years.   
BTW,   I think  there was some work being done Rochester having
 to do with a  procedural language of sometype.    I really believe 
that they (Rochester) think that all we use CL for is to simply CALL 
a program.   Questions I heard from them were "Well couldn't you 
just do that from Java ?   Also they gave me the impression that
all functions were user initiated.  You know,  everything that gets
done on the machine is the result of someone clicking something
with a mouse.   At least thats the impression I got.

Has anyone else heard anything on the matter ?    rp ??

If you are going to COMMON (or the tech conference) why not get
up at soundoff and say it one more time?
