Our biggest challenge right now is performance. We decided to move to the
Microsoft Rich Edit control. Big mistake on our part--it is slow that
anything I can image. If you want an example of the performance issues we're
up against, check out Microsoft's WordPad app that comes with Windows 95/98.
Open a large file of at least 100K bytes. If you need to, just duplicate
something over and over.  It takes forever.

We're looking at a few options--right now it loads normal sized RPG code
pretty quickly, but it slows down when you open larger files. Unlike the
16-bit version which opens a file of any size in a second or two, (I wrote
that code myself from scratch) the 32-bit version is using only MS stuff for
the editor presentation itself and is slow, slow slow to load a file...
We're working on it though.
