Re: New RPGIV functionality

Another RPG suggestion:

I got  'Update withour Read'  error when:
(1) I have more that one subfile in a display file
and (2) when there is read(no update) of a subfile
and (3) when another subfile is already opened for update.

I had raised this issue in this mailing list some time back but I found that
somebody else had this problem too.

Is anybody in IBM taking care of this problem?

That's great!  But, have you shared your procedures with
others?  How many others have also written lots of routines
for string handling, date handling, etc.?

Have a look at <http://www.cpan.org/>.  Why isn't there an
equivalent web site for RPG code?
