Why inst there a version of RPG for the PC, so that we can all program
on PC's at home, and develop more apps/utilities.

I agree, I will buy PC tools, because I can use them at home on my OWN
pc,
but it's hard to justify buying tools with my own money, where I am
depended
on somebody else having an as/400. I'm sure you have your own as/400 so
it
makes more since for you.... I do however buy my own books and
magazines....Plus in the case of code/400, if I was a contractor, and I
brought in my own copy of code/400 to use while I'm there, and the
company
I'm currently working for has to put on PTF's so I can run my tools I
feel
that would be pretty lame...
That's why I'm holding out for your product to see if it will run nicely
in
the environment where nothing has to be changed on the 400 other than
being
connected to the IP network.
