I've already sent my apology.  Oh, for the delays.  I didn't imply 
that he started a religious debate.  I implied that if we started 
arguing about whether there was a year 0 that we might start a 
religious debate.

Rob,

I don't see your point at all. No where in Jorge's note does he start a
religious debate. I believe he just misunderstood the application of *CYMD
which as put in to support the existing CL date format of CYYMMDD. Then
later, IBM added addition centuries to that format because it mathematically
fit.
