QLREXHAN only works on OPM programs I believe.

Until Hans gets a chance to do a justification report for the PHB and
include an option to allow DEBUG without including otherwise
unreferenced fields, see if the following will do what you want.  I
haven't tried it -- but it was suggested last month after someone who
wanted to know how to force a DUMP without using the DUMP opcode (and
the associated unreferenced field overhead).

The suggestion was to replace DEBUG with a call to QLREXHAN passing a
single 12-byte variable containing "D-" followed by the program name
(which you could get from the PSDS).  I believe this program is really
part of the COBOL run-time support, but exists on every system.

I haven't tried this myself, or compared its output to that of the
DEBUG opcode.  But it may be an alternative.

To me the idea of including unreferenced fields just because you coded
DEBUG(*YES) always seemed like overkill.
