Create a CLP with the following logic and then you can do FTP automatically
-

You may create a file of any name with fields as SRCSEQ and SRCDTA. Then you
may insert each FTP command into the file as a record. Remember that the
first line should be user name and password. After that you may override
file INPUT with this created file. Similarly you may create a file for
output log with same fields and with no data. Override file OUTPUT with
this created file. Then use FTP RMTSYS(..).

e.g. SRCSEQ SRCDTA
             1 'USERXXX PASSWORDXXX'
2 'mgets .......'

        Subject: FTP Scripting

        Hi All
I posted a question on the newsgroup last week and have since been
away. I
got back today and the string has been removed so here's my question
again.
I have a series of pgms which facilitate the automation of downloads
to
different NT servers. What still needs to be done is the pgm to
create the
script in the input file to connect to these servers. From what I
understand a CLLE pgm needs the overrides (input & output) and then
needs
        to

        FTP RMTSYS(xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx).

How can I get to the input file so I can use the open and close
        sub-commands ?

        Any help would be appreciated
        Regards
        John.
