Here what I have done in the past when using RPG/400 programs with /copy
(RPT programs)

When RPT programs are compiled, they are first precompiled into temporary
file wich disappears after the compile. The task is to recreate this
temporary file.

1. Made sure the member type is RPT
2. Created SRCPF called mylib/QAUTOSRC (any name will do) if it wasn't there
already.
3. When compiling the program using CRTRPTPGM I specify
OUTFILE(mylib/QAUTOSRC) OUTMBR(mbrname)
If I just want to regenerate the member I also specify
RPTOPT(*nocompile)
This will generate a member wich looks like the temporary source
file used to create the object.
4. start debug using STRISDB using SRCMBR(mbrname) SRCF(*LIBL/QAUTOSRC).
This will run the program in debug mode displaying the temporary
source in the debugger.
When you start STRISDB it will tell you that src date and time don't
match the object but usually it does not matter.
