Hans,

The URL to the conversion routine is:
http://www.midrangecomputing.com/ftp/prog/98/B980405.txt

To arrive at their main downloads page:
http://www.midrangecomputing.com/mc/prog/

I was under the impression that David Gibbs provides has a
download section on his web page but could not locate it. If one
exists, it would be a good bet for sharing code between users
of RPG400-l.

For code that has been published in any of the AS/400
magazines, I would guess the best bet is to post the download
link (which I neglected to do).

Do you have a URL? Or do we have to hunt through
http://www.midrangecomputing.com/ to find it?

This raises a related question: Is there any
public archive of RPGIV procedures out there?
When RPG programmers write good procedures that
might be of interest to others, what's the best
way to share that code?

Cheers! Hans
