That's the way a program I wrote recently works, with three different
sort options: Patient Account No., Medical Record No., and Guarantor
No.  Function key 8 cycles through the sorts, and each sort presents
an input field to type in a partial search criteria for positioning.
All of this is presented in a pop up window.  The file it is running
over has around 250,000 records.
