The limit is 9999.  This is because the variable that holds the relative 
record number is 4 digits long.  My personal advice is to never do a simple 
"load all" sort of subfile.  It seems easier on everybody to write a "page 
at a time" subfile with a positioner.  This way, the user doesn't have to 
scroll through an inordinate number of records just to get to the end - 
they type in a positioner that lets them get there on the first page they 
see.
