The QUSLSPL API will do what you want.  If you search the midrange-l 
archives at http://www.midrange.com for "delete old spool", the first entry 
is a request for a CL program to delete old spooled files.   Click that, 
and then go to the followup by Dave Mahadevan for an RPG program that 
should be a great foundation for your needs.
