Hello,
When you ask to influence the "system date" I assume you mean
change the value found in the QDATE system value.
If so, then that is the answer, No.

If you are trying to change the date a single job sees as QDATE,
then you need to capture or replace all requests for QDATE and supply
another date. Any temporary changes to QDATE made by a job will
effect what all jobs retrieve from QDATE.
