Several years ago I had to write a similar program which could possibly go
over
10,000 records. I used two seperate subfiles each using it's own RRN. It
was transparent
to the user which is what counts.

Subject: Subfiles:Displaying 10,000th record

Hi Friends,
I'm doing Subfiles now.
Apart from pagenated subfiles is there any other method to go past
9999records.i've heard that we have to re initialize the RRN value for
the 10,000 record, but in such a case won't we lose track of the first
9999 records.A brief program (of that particular portion)will be of
great help.
Thanks in advance.
