Well yes... you must have an object to debug.. you can't debug source to
find compilation errors... those aren't bugs (bug being defined as a defect
in an executing program).

One of the really nice things about the '400 is that you can debug a
program even when it's in production (provided you haven't removed the
debug information... for which there is no point anyway, it just makes the
program a bit bigger).
