I believe you can use DSPATR(PC), on the field you want to position the cursor
to.

Subject: Put cursor in a displayfile based on a given fieldname

Hi,

Does anyone know a way to place the cursor in a field without providing
the hardcoded column and row position in your program and the DDS
definition:

      A R RECORD1 CSRLOC(LINNBR POSNBR)
      A TITLE 40 B 1 2
      A PAGE 5Y OB 1 60
      A TEXT 1760 B 2 1
      A LINNBR 3 OH
      A POSNBR 3 OH

I can't find a DDS keyword like PutCursor(FieldName).
Is it posible with a API?

Thank you for any ideas you might have.
