I was perusing through my Mozilla Firefox add ons and I see two
Shockwave's:
Shockwave Flash 19.0.r0
Shockwave for Director 12.1.7.157

The latter is flagged as critically out of date. I try the update now
highlight and that displays a blocked warning from FF. Says it's blocked
because it's out of date. I'm thinking "then perform the bloody update!"

How do I update Shockwave for Director 12.1.7.157?

I just did the Adobe update. Control panel shows
Adobe Flash Player Settings Manager, Updates tab, says:
ActiveX Version: 14.0.0.125
NPAPI Plug-in Version: 19.0.0.245
PPAPI Plug-In Version: Not installed
