Folks:

I'm trying to setup a somewhat older version of Tomcat to run as a service on a Win7 x64 system.

When I set this up on my own system (running in a VM container) it works fine.

When I try to set this same thing up on another system, it installs ... but the service won't start.

When I try to start the service, the Windows event log has two entries ...

Could not load the Java Virtual Machine.
The LoadLibrary function failed for the following reason: The specified module could not be found.

I'm using the following command to install the service ...

tomcat -install "Test Service" jre\bin\server\jvm.dll -Djava.class.path=(...) -start com.fallingrock.server.ServerStart -stop com.fallingrock.server.ServerStop -method shutdown -out stdout.log -err stderr.log -current %SERVERDIR%

I'm using JRE 1.6.

Again, this works fine on most of the systems I install it on ... just one is currently giving me problems.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

david
