All,

I just love beating my head against the wall. It feels so good when I stop.

I have 2 Win 7 Pro 32-bit laptops (DellE6400). (They are not part of the
domain as they will spend the majority of their time on the road.) They
will not connect to the office wireless network automatically at bootup,
even though the box is checked to connect automatically. I have to click
on the wireless network name, then click the Connect box. It does not ask
for the password, it just connects.

I have deleted and recreated the connection several times.

I have made sure that the "wlan auto config" service is started and starts
automatically.

I have done this which I found online:
Stop the "wlan auto config" service.
Navigate to "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Wlansvc\ delete everything in this
folder leaving only a folder called "profiles" delete everything in the
"profiles" folder except for a folder called "interfaces" delete everything
in the "interfaces" folder.
Restart "wlan auto config" connect to your wireless network, enter your
passkey, (ensure the connect automatically box is checked)
Restart your computer. Your computer will now connect to your wireless
network automatically on boot.

Nothing has helped. I have 2 other DellE6400 that don't have this issue,
though they are Win 7 Home Premium. Any other suggestions? Here's hoping
it's something obvious.
