I like CrashPlan mostly because I can backup to a friends computer and
not have to pay for online backup. But at around $100 for the family
plan, it's affordable.

Also there is JungleDisk than can backup to Amazon S3 and RackSpace
then just pay for storage, but I was starting to approach the same
cost as one of the other plans and they had unlimited space.

Crash Plan is a good company, and has a lot of seats at large corporate
clients, so they are reasonably safe.

Folks:

I'm looking for recommendations for an online backup service.

Not adverse to paying a bit of money, but want solid service from a
company that won't go belly up.

I'm currently using quicken online backup, but the software hasn't been
updated in a long time and is kind of clunky.
