GoToMyPc requires an install on the client's machine. Licensed per client
so it's probably cost prohibitive for Jon.


OTOH, GoToMeeting does not need a license per client. Jon or whatever
helpdesk support staff just needs the license to be able to establish a
"meeting" between two or more computers. Everyone can watch; the ability to
control the mouse and keyboard can optionally be given to a remote party.

However, the browser does need to install a component from Citrix. The flip
side is you don't need any ports open and port forwarding at the client.
The negotiation is all handled as outgoing browser traffic.

If the client is paranoid about installs, I think Remote Assistance is the
most viable option. Personally, I use VNC myself...
